Satipharm is a medical, health and wellness company specialising in the development and manufacture of cannabinoid-based products from the hemp plant. Our focus is on delivering the most effective formulations and highest quality products, designed specifically with the needs of our patients and customers in mind. 

Our Advanced capsules have been proven in clinical trials to be significantly more effective than bottled CBD oils and sprays. They have also shown to be effective in our successful Phase II trial in refractory epilepsy. Read more about our trials in our Clinical Information section.

Company History

Satipharm was established in 2015 as a medicinal and wellbeing cannabinoid company. We focus on providing CBD products of exceptional efficacy and quality that are manufactured in a regulated and safe environment under Good Manufacturing Practice standards (GMP).

2018 saw the establishment of Satipharm’s global head office in Dublin, Ireland. The new management team brought together a blend of highly experienced people from the pharmaceutical, consumer goods and life sciences sectors.

In 2019 Satipharm's Advanced CBD 10mg Gelpell^® capsules were reformulated and relaunched in the UK and Europe, marking a significant milestone of product and company development.  This has been followed by the launch of other Advanced capsules in the Satipharm range, co-formulating our CBD microspheres with other beads containing targeted vitamins and plant extracts. The Advanced range currently includes Focus, Active, Sleep and Menoplus, in addition to the original 10mg CBD and 50mg CBD Advanced capsules, plus a mint flavoured CBD oil.

In 2021 Satipharm was acquired by the Cann Group, providing us with the resources to fast track development of novel THC based medicinal cannabis formulations.

Manufacturing Standards (GMP)

Our manufacturing process is in line with the international standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This ensures that Satipharm only provides products of exceptional, consistent quality, that are manufactured in a regulated, safe environment.
